Monitor Your Aquarium’s Calcium Levels with Precision

The Sera Calcium (Ca) Test 15ML is an essential tool for any marine aquarium enthusiast who wants to ensure optimal conditions for their aquatic life. This test kit allows for easy and accurate monitoring of calcium levels, which are crucial for the health and growth of ornamental algae, corals, and other invertebrates.

Key Features:

• Precise Measurement: Detects calcium levels in increments of 20 mg/l (ppm), with a range up to approximately 7,500 mg (ppm).
• Optimal Calcium Levels: Ideal calcium concentrations in marine aquariums range from 400 to 450 mg/l, mimicking natural marine water conditions.
• Easy to Use: Comprehensive instructions ensure that both beginners and experienced aquarists can perform tests with confidence.
• Effective Solutions: Utilize Sera Marin COMPONENT 1 to correct low calcium levels, while a partial water change helps balance high levels.
• Durable and Reliable: The kit includes reagents that are designed for long-lasting use, ensuring you can monitor your aquarium’s health over time.

Simple Testing Procedure:

1. Rinse and fill the measurement vial with the water to be tested to the 5 ml mark.
2. Add 8 drops of reagent 1 and shake gently.
3. Incorporate one level-filled spoon of reagent 2 and whirl gently without shaking.
4. Carefully add reagent 3 drop by drop until the desired color change occurs, indicative of your calcium level.
5. Calculate your calcium level by multiplying the number of drops of reagent 3 used by 20.

Maintenance Tips:

• Clean the vial thoroughly with tap water before and after each use.
• Keep reagent bottles tightly closed and store them at room temperature, out of direct light.
• Do not allow tested water to come into contact with aquarium or pond water to maintain the integrity of your results.

Ensure the health of your aquarium ecosystem by regularly checking calcium levels with the Sera Calcium (Ca) Test 15ML. A small investment in this test kit can lead to a thriving underwater paradise.
