Hypericum polyphyllum ‘Grandiflorum’, commonly known as Large-Flowered St. John’s Wort, is a compact, deciduous shrub prized for its bright yellow, cup-shaped flowers and attractive, fine-textured foliage. Blooming from early summer through late summer, its large, golden-yellow flowers feature prominent, bushy stamens that add a striking contrast and attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

This drought-tolerant and low-maintenance shrub thrives in well-drained soils and full sun, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens, borders, and slopes. Its dense, spreading habit provides excellent ground cover, while its resilience to poor soils and dry conditions makes it well-suited for xeriscaping and Mediterranean-style gardens. Hardy and long-blooming, Hypericum polyphyllum ‘Grandiflorum’ is a reliable and ornamental addition to any garden, offering vibrant color and ecological benefits throughout the growing season.
